Hey HBHLers! I am starting the cleanse tomorrow since my husband travels at the end of the month. I wanted to give y'all feedback on what I found today that may be helpful. 1) Earth Fare, if you haven't signed up for their weekly freebies do so and you'll get a free whole chicken ($10). You can sign up in the store. 2) Earth Fare offers 10% for military and students all the time. They're pretty nice about helping you find the things that are hard to find too. 3) If you need a juice blender Costco is selling the Bullet Supreme (as seen on TV) for $34 right now. It's perfect for blending and has five cups with two attachments for travel cups. Costco is good for bulk items and they have things you wouldn't think they'd have so check with them. OK - Until tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteDay One - Today's meals were great. The shake in the AM is VERY good! I timed my meals at 6:30, 12:15 and 6:15 (to be finished for the 12hr fast). I was worried about the snacks and being full but there was enough to keep me maintained and I EAT ALL THE TIME!! I had my snacks at 9 and 3. I had good water intake too. The pumpkin soup is great - I added the red pepper flakes for a little kick and the AM shake had the Super Green Grass supplement. I had a tiny caffeine withdrawal headache yesterday but it was manageable - gone today. My husband is suffering today a bit but he's sticking with him. Very happy we're doing it together! Happy Cleansing!!
ReplyDeleteI've been updating on Facebook. Does anyone reading this not have a facebook account? I don't want to inundate y'all with the posts. Day Three: AM shake ROCKED THE HOUSE! We were nervous about avocados and pineapple but it was SOOO GOOD! It made a lot more than I expected though and took a while to drink. We used our free chicken from Earth Fare (yah) and lunch and snacks were good. I am not a big fan of the dried apples..but it was manageable. Dinner was EXCELLENT! We've had a few pounds lost in the house - WOO HOO and feel great! Good luck to all y'all starting tomorrow!
