Workouts


*** Consult your physician before embarking on any workout program.  Exercise at your own risk.  Perform the exercises with proper alignment and form.  Modify the exercises as necessary.  Always perform a proper warm-up and cool-down. 


Modifications include:
-Dropping to your knees on push-up or plank moves
-Raising up onto your toes instead of jumping
-Keeping toes on the ground during boat pose or boot camp abs moves
-Raising knees, without running motion (marching), instead of running
-Adjusting the intensity of the workout to suit your physical fitness level 
-Using your arms to lift up out of the Turkish Get Up or Roll-Up exercises


* The only thing you need for these workouts is a mat, your body weight, and a timer! Most are less than 30 minutes- so no excuses!  Get them done while the baby is napping or first thing in the morning.

I've also included a warm-up and cool-down that you can follow along with to make sure your body is READY for your workout and to make sure that you properly allow your body to recover.

Here is this week's workout!  Check out the demo to make sure you understand the exercises.  ALWAYS modify the exercises as necessary and be sure you have been cleared by your doctor for interval training.

  1. you make it look so easy...the videos are GREAT! Love this format -- kids up at 5:30 = no early am workout for me. Baby napping at noon = time for working out! yay! Thanks Jannell!

  2. Wow, that PowerBodyz workout from April 8th really was a killer workout! I can't lie; I didn't enjoy it in the moment, but I am SOOO glad I finished it! :)
